Hide the gnome panel

This blueprint has been superseded. See the newer blueprint "Checkbox to replace GNOME panel" for updated plans.

AWN has reached a point where it can serve as a full replacement for the gnome panel, therefore having both on screen might seem like a waste of screen space.

It would be great for AWN to have an option (preference checkbox, maybe) to hide the gnome panel when it's started, and show it again when it's closed.
