Change the Zoom to Mac like zoom
It would be nice to see the mac like zoom in AWN. In the mac like zoom, when the mouse is placed over one icon, the other icons also zoom a bit. This has already been implemented by kiba-dock without any trouble.

I've heard several different reasons why this isn't being done - ranging from performance issues to copyright issues. I think we should just go ahead and get some sort of zooming working, and just have it disabled in favor of the bounce by default.
This way, if it's performance, users with decent computers can enable it if they have the hardware. When people start using the zoom, we'll get a better idea of any bottlenecks and have the chance to streamline them. If other docks can do it, what's causing Avant to lag behind?
If it's copyright issues, we would not be delivering a product that violates Apple interface copyrights, as we are not intimidating the dock with shipped settings; that would be the users choice. The thing to note is that as long as 3 default settings within the dock are different than the OSX dock, we are free from copyright as we have established enough difference as to qualify for an "original" idea. So, for example, have a black dock with rounded corners and a bounce effect - issues avoided. It's then the users personal choice on what they do with additional settings. If they want a white dock with stacks enabled and a zoom effect - it's out of our hands, because we gave them the option to do otherwise.
