Fading 'keep behind'

When selecting 'keep behind' in preferences, the dock should smoothly fade in and out when brought on top or sent behind the other windows.
Is this just a problem with the window manager though, or can a setting in awn provide it?

This behaviour can be simulated in 0.4, by using the fade-out autohide with intellihide, therefore setting as Implemented. (mhr3)
