An IRC Python Applet idea

I think since we have the Meebo IM applet, how about the other chat: IRC!

This could be a rehash of the meebo one but having a Java applet as the sent-to page, or by actually using a back end of some other (python based?) program. (Is there a flash IRC applet?)

It could also be part of or the beginning of the libpurple applet. Where having an AWN applet window as a tabbed lib purple window: A switching button to go between conversations (tabbed separation) and the contact list. Another button to view your settings (ie, the menu bar on Pidgin).

IRC is just a converation tab.

Anyways, I don't know ANY python, I want to learn, and I want to learn any other lanuage to. I know none! :P

I decided to blueprint it here for Python applet reasons :)
