Better Memory Management

Asgard needs better memory management. The manual freeing of memory is fraught with opportunity for memory leaks. Especially when you consider our multi-threaded messaging system. We need to consider using auto pointers or smart pointers or some other third option as a mechanism for ensuring that our memory is always freed.
