toggle alpha image according to certain parameters like ambient light

Is it possible to toggle alpha image according to the ambient light level? To have the light always on even in daylight is kind of weird.
Possible ini codes:

AlphaImage=ALPHATST
AlphaImage.Toggle=yes
AlphaImage.Threshold=0.5
;Optional
AlphaImage.Buffer=0.1 ;so the light will turn on when light level is this much below AlphaImage.Threshold and vice versa
AlphaImage.Delay=0.5 ;in minutes, this is the delay of toggling alphaimage after light condition is satisfied.
