Global Attach Effects via Academy Buildings

Similar to how the USA Strategy Center from Generals works, where you choose from three different unit bonuses, one giving units more firepower, one increasing armor, and one increasing weapon range

In my mod, I have each country specialize in certain types of units. Each faction has a country which specializes in tanks, and they each have 20% increase in unit armor. This could be an unfair advantage in early game tank rushes (or just starting unit rushes). I suggest that as an addition to academies, there could be an attach effect for everything specified of the building's owner.

Example:
Academy.AttachEffectArmorMultiplier=
Academy.AttachEffectIFirepowerMultiplier=
Academy.AttachEffectArmorMultiplier=

And so on. This would work in conjunction with Academy.Types, so that a modder can make only tanks or only infantry receive the bonus.

That would be awesome if academy tags can be upgraded. I wanted to add this to my mod long time ago, but couldn't think academies and failed to use area effect weaponary correctly. Also speed modifier should be good too. - MustaphaTR

You can use auto-fired superweapons with screen-wide warhead to do so.
That's enough except that they will also affect your teammates' same type units.
(SW.AffectsHouse has no effect on SW's warhead)
So what we really need may be a flag which can make warhead only affect owner's unit.
