Include image from file system or from internet

Hi, I don't know if there is the feature or is a blue print. My request is the possibility to include an image that is on file system or from web, the case study is: I want to put the product image without get fat my DB so I create a folder on server (or folder in a web server) and in ooo file I include image generating the name dynamically, ex: "/aeroo/image/" + o.code[:5] + ".JPG", or something similar. bp or yet included in module?
