Synchronize Port Bind in Shim Layer with Proton

Currently the proton-server does not wait for the bind operation in the shim layer to complete. Also, the vif information from the bind operation is not updated in the baseport object. The code need to be modified to synchronize the bind operation and pass back the vif_type and vif_details information so it can be put in the baseport object.
