Invert Clip and Mask to create holes in objects

The ability to invert the effect of a clip or a mask would be very useful to create tranparent or semi-transparent holes in vector objects or bitmaps instead of reducing its visibility to the clip or mask object. Some equivalent of "In" or "Out" in Composite SVG primitives. It could be activated by an additional menu function like Object/Clip/Invert or Object/Mask/Invert.
